Now, the game is finished, the beta has ended, and the Battlefield Heroes service has gone live to all. The game is online only, and uses a match making system to try and make sure that players of an equal skill level are placed into the same game.
The game generates revenue through micro-transactions and advertising, and users can purchase Battlefunds using a credit card or PayPal to purchase additional costuumes and more in-game emotes along with exclusive items.
As players progress and develop their character in Battlefield Heroes, they earn Valor Points and Hero Points, which allow them to upgrade their character's weapons, abilities and clothing. They do this by completing missions or doing well in multiplayer matches.
While there is no possible way at this stage to host the game client, you are able to download the game client and start your life as a Battlefield hero via the official website, which contains instructions on how to install the game via both Firefox and Internet Explorer.
The minimum hardware requirements for the game state that at least 1GB of hard drive space is required to install the game, so the download will probably set you back a little under 1GB of data.
Screenshots and trailers from the game are available on the mirror. You can find out more about Battlefield Heroes by takinga look at the official FAQ, or visiting the game's website.
