Colin McRae: DiRT 2 powerslides onto Wii
Those of you who've been wanting to race rally cars on your Wii and are just not happy with what is currently available will be happy to know that one of the more anticipated racing games due to be released this year, Colin McRae: DiRT 2 will be making its way onto the Nintendo platform, with most of the same features that will be seen on the PC, PlayStation 3 and the Xbox 360 versions of the game.

To demonstrate some of the content to be seen on the Wii, Codemasters have released a dirty new trailer that shows off the game in action on a Wii console, thankfully void of stylus swinging and grinning individuals.

The Nintendo Wii version of Colin McRae: DiRT 2 will see nine exotic locations for Wii onwers to race through, with varied courses set in the US, Europe, and other real world locations.

The Nintendo Wii version of the game will have the option to race split screen with friends of family, and include around 40 races for players to complete, along with a bunch of different cars to race.

Codemasters have honoured the memory of legendary driver Colin McRae by continuing to use his name for the game, with many in-game references to the late driver and his reputation.

Colin McRae: DiRT 2 will be released in September this year, and will be available on the PC, PlayStation 3, PlayStation Portable, Xbox 360, Nintendo Wii and the Nintendo DS.
