All Points Bulletin: First glimpse at the insane character customization

If you ever thought Crackdown or Grand Theft Auto would make a great MMOG you're in luck. All Points Bulletin is exactly the kind of game the MMO genre needs. The breakout coverage from E3 shows that Realtime Worlds has a potential blockbuster on their hands.
Looking unique is on top of of many lists when it comes to needed improvements. The character creation system doesn't have to be an after thought and it's damn annoying to find other players that look just like you especially with everyone wearing the same items. Not in APB. You were probably let down by other MMOGs that touted limitless creation but we'll let the newly released APB videos showcasing character creation and customizations do all the talking.

The breadth from the character creation system looks to be more customizable than any other system in a MMOG to date. It's definitely showing promise to take the crown. Imagine how far along the system will be when the game launches in early 2010. Still, that doesn't mean players will be able to make mutated cyclops gimps with a limp. The key is to have the widest range of features with maintaining the proliferated mean streets of San Pero with naturally looking thugs and hooligans.
