What better way to start your week than with a bunch of hulking great mechs? That's what you'll get in the latest update for F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin! The patch has been living in console-exclusive limbo since late May, but it's now available as a standalone download for PC, and it brings the goods.
It's a whopping 900MB in size, but the 1.04 patch, known as Armored Front can be applied to the game right out of the box, as it's also got v1.03 bundled up in there, too. It also introduces two new maps and four new character heads (no, really), to help expand your game experience. And, of course, there are mechs.
I like you enough to not treat you to the EPA Yeah! trailer again (if you haven't seen it, check it out! ...if you have, once is probably enough) - so instead, I'll give you the rundown on the new content introduced in the patch.

Of course, this update is also available as DLC for both Xbox 360 and PS3 versions of the game, and the PC version snuck out on Steam a little while ago. Now there's no excuse for playing with that standard head, on those original maps!![]()
