Forza 3 to feature Le Mans circuit
As a part of the 77th Le Mans 24 hour race, Microsoft is staging an event at the French circuit, to promote the shiniest new features of their upcoming racing game, Forza Motorsport 3. At the event Peugot driver, Stéphane Sarrazin, who acted as a consultant on the game will announce, with Microsoft a number of new game features.

The first of these is that the Le Mans circuit itself will feature in the game, along with the Bugatti circuit. In addition, a new multi-class racing mode will be included, which allows players to race against vehicles above and below their class on the same circuit.

To prove that the game has what it takes as a simulation, Stéphane, took several in game laps before jumping into the pits and the cockpit of his car in preparation for the real race, which is on this weekend in France.

Microsoft has also announced the first group of cars that will be featured in the game, which include the following:

The full game is due to feature more than 100 vehicles, and promises the "best graphics" and "most realistically performing cars in gaming". The game is currently due in October, and "will let racing fans worldwide live out their love of motorsport".

To help promote the game, and celebrate the actual event in France, Microsoft, in conjunction with Audi, will be holding an event in New York where the top nine online Forza players will gather, reproducing the prestigious racing event on the Xbox 360 over a full 24 hour race, complete with regular pit stops, suggesting that endurance races will feature in the completed version of Forza Motorsport 3 when it hits in October.
