By Jessica Citizen - Fri Jun 12, 2009 9:26am
As we promised yesterday, the latest update for Call of Duty: World at War is now live. Map Pack 2 has been unleashed on the world, delivering four new maps - including some all-new zombies - for Xbox 360 and PS3.
To celebrate, they're offering a double xp long weekend, starting now and running until the wee hours of Wednesday morning (2:30am Adelaide time, which is 10am Tuesday June 16th, PST). What are you waiting for? Jump into Corrosion, Sub Pens, Banzai ...and, of course, Shi No Numa (Zombie Swamp)! (...we've even got a new video for you if you need more convincing!)

Mark Lamia, Studio Head of Treyarch explains:
Call of Duty: World at War is currently available on the Xbox Live Marketplace, and should also be on the PlayStation Network - but Treyarch have learned from experience, and add the disclaimer that different regions update the PlayStation Network Store at different times - so your local might not have the new pack just yet. Sit tight - it'll get there!
...for the rest of you - see you in the Swamp!
