[E3 2009] Games On Net goes to E3: Day Zero - Microsoft
By Jessica Citizen - Wed Jun 3, 2009 6:03pm
While the rest of us are stuck at home, experiencing E3 only through the wonders of the internets, Bennett Ring and a camera crew are stationed in LA, checking out all of the goodies first hand.
Traditionally, Microsoft start off the week with a press conference held before the expo even starts. You've read the liveblog, you've heard about the big announcements, but now's your chance to check out some moving pictures of the event, as the main feature of our first video post, recorded live at E3.
Download the Games On Net - E3 2009 Coverage: Microsoft Press Conference video
Check out the presentations for The Beatles: Rock Band, Tony Hawk: Ride, Modern Warfare 2, Left 4 Dead 2, Crackdown 2, Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Conviction, Forza 3, Halo 3: ODST, Halo Reach, Alan Wake, and then the new social networking features to be added to the Xbox 360. Finally, take a look at Project Natal... and it wouldn't be complete without mentioning HIDEO KOJIMAAAAAAAAAAAAAA, who really is the star of this year's E3, this time announcing Metal Gear: Rising.
The guys are flat out, running around Los Angeles dragging the video camera with them, and they promise us that tomorrow night, they'll have another video post for you, focussing on another part of the expo.
As always - we want your feedback! Want more of something? Less of something else? Want to know more about one game in particular? Does Bennett talk as fast as I do, or does he need more energy drinks? Of course, the videos are free traffic for Internode customers, but if you're quota-conscious and would like a smaller version, we've shrunk it down to a teeny 30MB file, in case 260+MB is too big for you.
