It's now time for that other gem that pops up a lot in E3 week - the specially released game fact sheet. This one is for the Wii-exclusive Dead Space Extraction, which you may have seen popping up in the list of EA titles on show at the expo.
Most of this is stuff we already know - like the game was built from the ground up specifically for the Wii, and it's a prequel to the original Dead Space, outlining the events that happened in the leadup to Isaac Clarke's mission ...but to sweeten the deal, Visceral Games have thrown in a bonus E3 Trailer to give you some moving pictures to go with the details.

Promising to mesh the Wii's innovative motion-sensing controls with a "frenetic" first-person perspective, Dead Space Extraction is looking pretty frightening.

Terror is hiding in every shadow and behind every corner - so you're stuck out in the open, by yourself - or with a friend. Solve mind-bending puzzles, blow up oncoming Necromorphs, and - above all - get to safety, in what is shaping up as the most cinematic horror experience seen on the Wii.

Dead Space Extraction tells the story of a handful of space colonists desperately struggling to escape from a horrific infection on the Aegis VII mining colony deep in the furthest regions of space. The game introduces a new heroine, Lexine to the fiction and as the crew fall victim to a mysterious contagion aboard the ship, it becomes clear that protecting her may be their only hope for survival. Dead Space Extraction introduces all new characters, weapons, enemies, puzzles and co-operative multiplayer gameplay.

This is one game that's sneaking onto the "must see" list at E3 this week - I'm sure we'll be seeing plenty more where that came from.
