Magnacarta II to see Australian release

The game's plot will centre around "intense themes of love, hate, politics, betrayal, and the ultimate question of choosing one's own fate".
Set on the Lanzheim Continent, players enter a "conflict ridden land" that is in the grips of civil war. While little else regarding the plot has been released, an "emotional story" is to be present, along with CGI-cut scenes and fully voiced dialogue.
Promising "more than 40 hours of gameplay", Magnacarta II combines a mix of "strategic turn based battles" and "real time gameplay", with world navigation and battle transitions "seamless". No loading screens will be present during the transition between fight scenes and exploration, which is always welcome in RPGs.
Players will be able to use objects in the environment to gain the upper hand, and the environment (and creatures) in their vicinity will be influenced by all heir actions.
The party of player will be controlled by "AI", but you'll have the option of telling them what you'd like them to focus on. Magnacarta II will also have a number of customisation options open to the player. As monsters are defeated, players earn "Kamonds" which can be used to enhance existing weapons, or create new ones. As players change weapons, their fighting style changes and develops.
In addition to the Kamonds system, players will be able to use magic, engage in overdrive mode and perform "special moves". The game is due for the Xbox 360 in Spring, and looks to be an interesting title for those that really like RPGs. The graphics aren't too shabby, either.
