ArmA II release date gets pushed ... forward!

In late April, it was announced that ArmA II and sequel to ArmA would hit European retailers on the 26th of June. Today, it has been announced that the game will see release sooner than that date, which is a welcome move for those who are awaiting the game's release.

European retailers will be able to sell ArmA II from the 19th of June, meaning that those wanting the game will be able to pick it up one week earlier!

ArmA II will feature "the most realistic warfare gameplay ever", and will build on the features developed for ArmA. The game will feature team-based combat, a "comprehensive play book of military tactics" and an enormous battlefield, complete with real world bullet ballistics, and the ability to control multiple vehicles, including tanks and helicopters.

While no local retail release date has yet been announced, it is likely that you'll eventually be able to purchase the game online. The game will be available on the PC.
