Following last week's mysterious magazine advertisement and the eventual launch of a teaser website, which was meant to be accompanied with some incredibly massive announcement from Konami and Kojima Productions those checking the page earlier today (the apparent date of announcement) were confronted by nothing more than yet another teaser.

Now, the storm clouds are accompanied with lightning, and a count down timer, which has around 73 hours left. Periodically, a giant flash of lightning occurs, revealing a rather large "5", or what could be considered the letter "S".

In any case, the website's update hasn't revealed anything further. The "5", or "S" (it is unlikely it is an "S", as there is no variable or evidence in the JavaScript referencing "S"), could allude to any number of things - a new Metal Gear game? Perhaps. A new IP? Perhaps. At this point, nobody knows, and it is all about the speculation.

For the rest of us, we can probably expect the next phase of the announcement in just over 73 and a half hours.
