Call of Duty: World at War now half price on Steam

It is that time of the week again - the weekend. As a result, it is time for another Steam deal of goodness. This time, it applies to Call of Duty: World at War, which is currently available for half price.

Developed by Treyarch using the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare game engine, Call of Duty: World at War takes players back to the second world war, introducing co-op game play, a number of new online game modes (including one in which hordes of zombies must be destroyed), along with a single-player campaign that is said to be entertaining and engaging.

The game is currently available for US$24.99 via Steam, down from the usual price of US$49.99. with "cinematic quality" and "jaw dropping visuals" the features a multitude of game play avenues - co-op, single player and competitive multi player.

The game covers both the European and Pacific theatres of conflict, with players needing to fight against the Imperial Japanese forces and the German army.

Improvements over the multi player game play of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare includes the ability to fight using vehicles, the addition of more perks, and a higher level cap.
