Killing Floor out now on Steam

The developers of Red Orchestra have released Killing Floor, a team-based shooter via Steam. Billed as a "Co-Op Survival Horror" game, Killing Floor is set in the "devastated cities and countryside of England", where the genetic experiments of the military has gone "horribly wrong."

As members of an elite squad, players must work together to "survive long enough" to "cleanse the area of failed experiments".

The game is available on Steam now, for a price of US$19.99, and supports six players working together across multiple "waves of specimens". Killing Floor also has a Peristent Perks System, that allows players to convert their in-game achievements into "permanent improvements" to their character's skills and abilities.

With forty achievements, over twelve weapons, along with a "ZEDtime" feature, that allows players to "watch those crucial and violent creature deaths" in slow motion during multi player.

Killing Floor features open and non-linear levels where players can go wherever they want. Players are also able to weld doors shut, and choose a difficulty level that is best suited to themselves.

The game is available on Steam now, for a price of US$19.99.
