F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin gets an Armored Front
Played through F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin? Checked out the Toy Soldiers pack? Want something new? Want something mech?

...you're in luck. Starting May 21st (that's next week!), the clever boys and girls at Monolith are releasing a new map pack on the world - Armored Front - which promises a whole new multiplayer experience for both console versions of the game (sorry, no PC confirmation at this stage). Two new maps, and - wait for it - four unique character heads.

Don't take our word for it, we've got a new video to show off what's in store.

Conductor Map: Push your way out of a train yard into the vast and open-ended junction station built around a turntable. EPAs will battle their way through the ground floor, as infantry can choose to either support from below or scale the heights of the station and engage in long-range combat.

Decoy Map: Put your skill to the test in this full-scale training ground for Replica soldiers! Once a controlled arena for combat exercises, now it is under a full-blown assault for control between Replica and ATC. Watch out for ambushes, and don’t let the pop-up target dummies fool you!

Character Heads: Four unique heads to customize your character.
Armored Front is the second of three chunky little DLC packs for Monolith's spooky shooter, with Toy Soldiers out last month and the third slated for later this year.

In addition to these maps, there's also a premium theme and picture pack released for Xbox 360, and a theme for PS3 to boot. Armored Front maps for F.E.A.R. 2 will set you back 540 MS Points, and an equivalent amount through the PlayStation Network.
