[BlizzCon 09] Meet Grunty, the BlizzCon 2009 exclusive in-game pet

We must be getting closer to BlizzCon, with Blizzard Entertainment revealing today that gamers who attend the event (or watch it via Pay Per View) will be able to do their part to protect Azeroth from interstellar invasion.
This year's exclusive in-game pet has been revealed: Grunty, the murloc marine. He is fully armoured, and brandishes a gauss rifle, which he's been known to occasionally fire into the air (making sure there are no invisible spacecraft lurking nearby).

Hell, it's about time... to make gurgling noises!
In case you'd forgotten, BlizzCon 2009 will take over California's Anaheim Convention Center on August 21 and 22, with tickets going on sale on Saturday May 16th (US time), and a second allotment released on May 30th. We're still waiting to confirm whether or not Australian audiences will be treated to the same Foxtel Pay Per View offering we had last year, or if locals will have to rely on the online streaming option being provided for the first time.
