World in Conflict Patch 11 Beta to launch soon, with four new maps!

World in Conflict is still alive and kicking, driven by the recent release of World in Conflict: Soviet Assault. However, upon the release of Soviet Assault, and a patch that was released at the same time, there has been a number of issues that the community has been fairly vocal about.
In short, the Infantry role has been broken somewhat, with units unresponsive and very keen to die, and the medium chopper is now considered extremely over powered, as it has the abilty to fire upon targets directly below it. As a result, Massive Entertainment have braced themselves against the tide of forum posts regarding these issues, and have announced, that prior to the release of the much-awaited Patch 11, a beta test will be held, and will be open to all who own the game!
In addition, the Patch 11 beta will grant access to four new maps, each created in house at Massive.

In order to sign up to the beta, players will need to e-mail Massive with two pieces of information - the first of these is the e-mail address you used to sign up to Massgate and create your account, and the name of your main profile.(That will be used for testing.)
Those who are confirmed for the beta test will then get an email at some point in the very near future - which will allow them to update to version 11, and create a new account on a special testing platform version of Massgate. They will also receive access to the Patch 11 beta, and another file allowing them to revert to Patch 10 to be able to play with those who didn't get a spot in the beta testing.

do_Canal and do_Apocalypse
The testing will begin on the 7th of May (European Time) (so some time this evening, and continue for two weeks). Players involved in the beta will have access to a special forum and servers where balance issues can be discussed.
If you want in, get in quickly! Complete details can be found on Massgate Forums
