Gears of War 2 sells over five million, new DLC announced

Gears of War 2 is a very popular game. So popular, in fact, that its just reached a milestone. Since its release, over five million copies have been sold. In order to celebrate this Microsoft and Epic have announced yet another slab of downloadable content for the game.
The pack is called Gears of War 2: Dark Corners, and will include seven new multiplayer maps and a new campaign chapter called the Road to Ruin. The map pack is currently scheduled for release on the 29th of July.
The new multiplayer maps are plentiful, with seven to be introduced. These are:
The Gears of War 2: Dark Corners downloadable content will be available on the 29th of July through the Xbox LIVE Marketplace, and will be priced at 1600 Microsoft Points.

The "new" campaign chapter is one that was excluded from the final game release, called Road To Ruin. This chapter sees Marcus and Dom travel through the Locust Hollow - with two possible approaches - all guns blazing, or through the use of stealth.
