Fable II See the Future DLC dated, priced along with multiplayer offer

"When that thing hit eighty eight miles per hour..."
Some time in the not-so-distant past, Lionhead and Microsoft announced that they had plans to turn their fancy, shiny, and at times, underwhelming RPG, Fable II into a time machine of sorts, allowing gamers to See the Future in exchange for an undefined number of Microsoft Points, and a flux capacitor.

Today, pricing and a release date has been announced for the content, along with a sort of incentive for those who do not have Xbox LIVE Gold Membership at this time, which allows those who've not forked out cash for premium member ship to play Fable II online, free of charge for one weekend only.

The See the Future downloadable content, upon completion, of course, will alow players to get their heroes the "Ultimate Reward" (no, it isn't immortality) - a glimpse into the future of Albion. It doesn't take a genius to realise that the conclusion of the downloadable content will probably be a trailer teasing at the next instalment in the Fable franchise.

Regardless, for those interested in the actual content and those who care not for inevitability, See The Future will be available on the 13th of May in Australia, for a price of 560 Microsoft Points. Available through the Xbox LIVE Marketplace, See the Future will add new quests, armour items and other generally rare virtual items to the land of Albion.

In the future of Albion, I have divined bloom, motion blur, and flame, and unfathomable caches of gold.

To get people excited, and possibly motivate them to actually... finish the game. Starting on the 9th of May, at 5:01AM Australian Eastern Standard time, those who own Fable II but are not members of Xbox LIVE Gold will be able to pester other Fable II game owners for co-op sessions with no obligation to spend a single cent until the 12th of May at 4:59AM Australian Eastern Standard Time, at which point their temporary, Fable II multiplayer privileges will be snatched from their reluctant, tired limbs.

See the Future will also add 250 "fun" new achievement points, allowing Gamer Score hordes to exchange even more money for more shiny figures next to their name. See the Future will be available on the 13th of May, and will be available in exchange for 560 Microsoft Points.

Expect news on the 13th of May, or shortly thereafter regarding a cryptic trailer or blatantly obvious teaser for the inevitable next title in the Fable series.
