Capcom, who are now a member of the PC Gaming Alliance, have announced plans to bring three of their major titles to the PC, starting in July, which will see the release of Street Fighter IV and Bionic Commando. Later in the year, the survival horror title Resident Evil 5 will make its way to PC.
Each title will feature a number of "enhancements" for the PC. Across the board, support for resolutions higher than 720p will be present on the PC, along with online play, along with a few features that will mean the PC versions of the title are likely to appeal to all types of gamers, both those with low-end hardware and high end hardware.
The PC version Street Fighter IV will see players experience all new characters and environments, rendered in 3D, but fought in classic 2D Street Fighter style. Enchantments will include online play, support for "high" resolutions, and three post-processing filters to give the game a fresh look, watercolour, posterization, and sumi-e. The PC version of Street Fighter IV is due for release in July.

Street Fighter IV and Bionic Commando
Bionic Commando, which is also due on the PC in July, puts players into the shoes of Nathan Spencer, a bionically enhanced agent who has been betrayed by the government which he had loyally served. Imprisoned, and destined for death, on the eve of his execution, Spencer is set free following a terrorist attack, when the government realise he's the right man to track the terrorists down.
The PC version of Bionic Commando will have support for both Direct X 9 and 10 rendering, and will allow for "higher resolutions than the console version". Players will also be able to remap controls on the mouse and keyboard to ensure that they get the best possible experience.
Finally, Resident Evil 5, which isn't due until "later this year" will see players take the role of Chris Redfield, in an Africa overrun bySwineflu the T-Virus. The game feature co-op play, zombie killing, and of course, evil. The PC version will allow for higher resolutions, online co-op play, and for those with the right hardware, support for 3D Vision from NVIDIA.
No precise release date for any of the tiles has yet been announced, but we will keep you informed as we learn more.
