As though to throw a bone to the starving PlayStation 3 gamer, Capcom have also announced that the PlayStation Network will see an exclusive demo released before the game launches, which is due with this week's update of the PlayStation store, completely free of charge.
The full game is due to feature fifty six characters, with an equal number from the Marvel and Capcom sides of the fence. The game is based on the Dreamcast's code base, following the not-so well received PlayStation 2 and Xbox versions of the title. Online play is to use the same net code as Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix, which will ensure even the most fussy gamers will find it difficult to find something to complain about.
The first trailer shows off some in-game footage:
Those who choose to dislike the game's original soundtrack music will also be able to play their own music from their console's hard disk.
No release date for the full game has been revealed yet, but with a demo to be available on the PlayStation Network this week, it can be assumed that a full release isn't too far away in the uncertain lands of the future. Pricing for the title has not yet been announced.
