Warrior Epic about to enter closed beta, again...

How charming! Warrior Epic is about to enter closed beta for the third time. You know what that means. Third time's the charm, am I right? That's about as cliché as the title Warrior Epic. Don't judge a MMOG by its title - got it. The game is an action-oriented fantasy MMOG in development by Austin, Texas-based studios Possibility Space. The main premise of the game involves a Warrior Command Hall where players recruit various Warrior type classes and own the hell out of everything. It's all very Warrior-like.
Will this MMOG really be different from the favored fantasy blend seen in the likes of World of Warcraft? Well, there's a chance you can find out firsthand by scoring a beta slot. We also have an epic short trailer showing off some gameplay which raises the question that maybe death isn't necessarily a penalty after all. I make no apologies for that last epic comment.

So, as the trailer suggests, death does not mean the end of a Warrior. Not only will players evolve and essentially level-up their Warriors through the Command Hall when it comes to death there is a Warrior Spirits System. Players may choose to revive their Warrior but if left as a spirit they can be bound to weapons which open up an array of attacks and abilities. Your dead Warriors can also be summoned to inflict damage and serve other needs depending on the situation players encounter.

If you want a chance at the upcoming closed beta that starts on May 1st you'll need to register on the official Warrior Epic forums. In development for nearly two years, Warrior Epic is making strides, and talk of the actual retail launch is finally being mentioned by official channels more and more.
