It is little wonder that Activision Blizzard are rolling about laughing in pools filled with molten gold, especially with 5,000 Guitar Hero games currently in development. The latest of these, Guitar Hero: Greatest Hits is scheduled for release on the 17th of June, which follows the simple concept of taking tracks that appeared in earlier Guitar Hero games, adding drum, bass, and vocal tracks, and repackaging it as a shiny new game for the masses.
Today, Activision Blizzard, have announced a portion of the set list that will appear in Guitar Hero: Greatest Hits, specifically, the tracks that appeared in Guitar Hero. To the joy of metal heads everywhere - Pantera's Cowboys From Hell will feature, with a live, master recording of the track to be included.
For those that may not be as fond of metal as others, we've got the complete list of the other songs to be included from the first Guitar Hero game.
