Activision Blizzard will break quarterly earning projections

So many millions, it hurts
Activision Blizzard laughs in the face of the economic crisis and bulldoze their expectations for this quarter. So many hundreds of millions that bag space is becoming an issue. CEO Robert Kotick took the time to announce today that the company will outdo its US $860 million net revenue target for the quarter.

No new estimates were given, but the shattered expectations stem from the phenomenal software sales from the reigning titans: World of Warcraft, Call of Duty, and the numerous Guitar Hero iterations. Kotick took the spotlight to stop stuffing his pockets with monies and pitch Activizzard's upcoming lineup.
"This bodes well for our upcoming spring titles Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, X-Men Origins: Wolverine and Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs, which are inspired by theatrical feature films releases, Prototype, a new intellectual property, and the release of Guitar Hero Smash Hits as well as continued sales of our recently released Guitar Hero Metallica game."

The reason behind the excess surge in revenue isn't only from stellar software sales but an 11+ million army of loyal fans shelling out doe on a regular basis to play World of Warcraft. Blizzard's parent publisher also took this opportunity to confirm Netease will be taking over base operations and development in China for a three year period. This validates rumors over the past few months that The9 was on the outs and so is their stock. The deal with Netease also includes the licensing of Warcraft III and Starcraft II.
