Guitar Hero: Greatest Hits details surprise nobody
The idea: Take the "most exciting, recognisable and fun to play music" from earlier titles Guitar Hero, Guitar Hero II, Guitar Hero Encore: Rocks the 80s and Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock - and then convert these formerly guitar-only titles into a full-band experience.

The result: Guitar Hero: Greatest Hits, and we've got a new trailer that may explain things a bit more.

Revealed last month, Greatest Hits promises to contain 48 master recordings, offering exciting gameplay modes both online and offline - including Band Career and an 8-player Battle of the Bands (two full bands competing head-to-head online). The popular Music Studio, GHTunesSM and Rock Star Creator modes first introduced in Guitar Hero World Tour also make a comeback in the new game, currently looking at a "June" release date (we're currently taking bets on what that means for Australian audiences).
