Microsoft and Lionhead have announced new downloadable content for the Xbox 360 exclusive RPG, Fable 2. Creatively entitled, See the Future, the new game-add on will allow heroes to travel through an "action-packed journey" which, at its conclusion, allows heroes to receive the "ultimate reward" - a glimpse into the future of Albion.

Currently scheduled for a release in May this year, the See the Future downloadable content will see players lift curses placed on three "mysterious items" that have fallen into the hands of Murgo the Trader. With new characters, events, artefacts, and more gameplay to be added with See the Future, it seems as though the Fable adventures aren't set to end any time soon.

We've got the first details of the downloadable content to share with you, which outlines Murgo, the new character, two new quests, and The Colosseum.

As can be expected, among the new quests, new creatures, "events", and items are set to be included with the See the Future downloadable content - the first details of which can be found below.

Murgo: Having first met him during the childhood sequence of “Fable II,” Murgo returns to Bowerstone Market to bring an amazing array of new wares, including potions that can transform canine companions into new breeds.

The Ghosts of the Snowglobe Quest: Holding a disturbing secret, the small model village inside it was once a real town in Albion. The people who once inhabited it are now ghosts condemned to endless torment until the shadowy threat that cursed them is defeated.

The Cursed Knight Quest: Forever banished to a land beyond the dead, the Cursed Knight awaits a hero who has the strength and will to dress up in convincing costumes, even imitating a hobbe or balverine, to save him from his fate.

The Colosseum: The Colosseum puts even the Crucible to shame. Only the greatest heroes have triumphed here. Players’ abilities will be put to the test to prove themselves in combat once and for all, to win the ultimate in prizes.

The See the Future downloadable content will also introduce "complimentary unique items", such as Welley's soldier helmet, other clothing, a braided ponytail hairstyle, new make up, a new hero expression, a new back flip trick for the dog, and a Murgo the trader statue.

No exact release date for the downloadable content has yet been announced, nor has pricing. Expect more details to come in the future.
