Working in the industry is many a gamer's dream, but a lot of us are in the habit of thinking of the available career paths as a limited pool composed mainly of coder, artist or journalist. Following on from the recent announcement that composer Bear McCreary is manning the baton behind the scenes at Dark Void development, Capcom have released a new trailer in which the science fiction-loving musician gives an insight into his job; the music that inspires him, what influenced him to pursue work in the games industry, and how he has approached the sound design for Dark Void.

Set in a mysterious parallel world ruled over by a powerful race of beings that don't seem particularly pleased to see the jet-pack wearing pilot drawn into their realm, Dark Void is due out this year on PC, Playstation 3 and Xbox 360, and looks set to thrill action and sci-fi fans alike.
