Ever wondered just what the Australian gaming public are buying? We've got the latest charts for you that will give you all the details you need to know, for all the major platforms.
There's some new titles popping up here, but I think the biggest thing to notice is that the PS2, the best-selling console to date, is being primarily used in this country as a karaoke machine. Nine of the top ten games for that platform involve dancing around with a microphone - and the remaining title is an Australia-centric quiz game. Oh, PS2, how the mighty have fallen.
Meanwhile, the other platforms aren't really providing many surprises. The country has returned once again to the humble Wii, and its promise of playtime fun. PC gamers remain locked in total war, while the 360 experiences wars of a different kind alongside Master Chief. The PS3 is in Africa with the zombies, Freddie Mercury visits the PS2, the DS spends some time in Chinatown, and the PSP is looking to create infections.
