In Beyond Good and Evil, players take control of "action reporter" Jade, who, amidst an alien invasion of her world - discovers a far reaching government conspiracy. With challenged ideals, Jade must face an "evil she cannot possibly fathom" using a combination of "stealth, force, and wits".
If you're picking up the pack to get your hands on Dark Messiah of Might and Magic you'll enter a source-powered first-person mythical adventure, with "dark and immersive fantasy environments" and the ability to use "Swords, Stealth or Sorcery" across 12 "huge" levels containing over 30 weapons. In addition, 32 player multi-player gameplay is a part of the package, which involves first-person melee combat, and "dynamic online campaigns", where gamers can choose between playing with the humans, or playing with the undead.
The next title in the pack, Far Cry sees players assume the role of Jack Carver, a Freelance Mariner who accepts a contract to take a female reporter to a tropical island. Upon arriving, his boat is destroyed, and he finds himself amidst a sprawling open world filled with gunfights, vehicles and a "heart-pounding" tropical jungle atmosphere.
Finally, those who pick up the pack will also get IL-2 Sturmovik, a World War II combat flight simulator, with 229 flyable planes, and over 200 campaign missions. The game features avenues for both fighter and bober pilots, focusing on an alternate history where, in 1946 World War II "rages on" in a conflict between the Soviet Union and Germany.
The pack seems like a good deal - even if you were interested in one of the titles, with US$9.99 a very reasonable price for the four games. I mean - it is probably less than people spend going out to the pub, right?
