Wallace and Gromit's Grand Adventures - first episode out now!

Following the release of the demo for the first episode in Wallace and Gromit's Grand Adventures, Fright of the Bumblebees - Telltale Games have today announced that the game is available via their online store.

To celebrate, they've released a bunch of new screenshots from the game, and are currently running a deal that will expire at the end of this week. For US$29.95 - gamers will be able to purchase all four of the episodes of Wallace and Gromit's Grand Adventures. The deal will last for one week and is a discount of 15% (down from the regular price of US$34.95).

In Wallace and Gromit's Grand Adventures players take control of both of the much loved characters, leading them through an all new tale surrounding Wallace's newly founded honey-business. Thinking that large flowers would mean loads of bees, Wallace is surprised at the unforeseen consequences which eventuate, to which he and Gromit must react to stop the bees from attacking the local town.

Sean Clarke head of Aardman Rights had the following to say about the transition of Wallace and Gromit to the video-game arena:
The partnership with Telltale was a natural one. Their talent for crafting engaging adventures with humour and charm fits well with the Wallace & Gromit style, and the four games of Wallace & Gromit's Grand Adventures make excellent new additions to the series.
The first episode of Wallace and Gromit's Grand Adventures is available now - and for those who buy the game through Telltale's online store will receive not only a discount, but 50% off any other title added to the cart, including the entirety of the Sam & Max and of course Strong Bad's Cool Game for Attractive People.

More new screenshots can be found on the mirror.

Wallace and Gromit's Grand Adventures is available on the PC now - and will soon make its way onto the Xbox LIVE Marketplace. Stay tuned for more news from Telltale Games - as we will be catching up with what they're up to direct from GDC 2009.
