Crysis Wars gets patched to 1.4, SDK released
Crytek have released the v1.4 patch for the multiplayer component to Crysis Warhead - the creatively named Crysis Wars. The patch fixes a number of issues including crashes, memory leaks and also adds more options. In addition, two tweaks to the game's balance round out the 434MB patch.

With the release of the patch, Crytek have also released the MOD SDK for Crysis Wars, which enables users to create new maps, multiplayer modes and other fancy, shiny new things for use in Crysis Wars.

The complete change-list for the v1.4 patch is as follows:
General Fixes
  • Fixed a crash relating to dropped weapons

  • Fixed an issue where spectating players could impede other players' movement

  • Fixed several memory leaks

  • Several optimisations

  • Scope position broken when picking up the same weapon type
Updates and Improvements
  • All graphic settings are now available on DX9 machines

  • Improved visibility of mouse cursor on bright backgrounds

  • Improved hit feedback when shooting vehicles

  • Modding interface is now available
Balance
  • Cloaked players are no longer detected by the Radar Kit

  • Reduced radius of Radar Kit scan sound
