Codemasters have released a new trailer detailing the latest venture of Netherland based Triumph Studios - the much anticipated Overlord II. Creative "Overlord" of the development studio, Lennart Sas speaks in the trailer about the second game in the series, which will launch in June this year on the PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

In Overlord II you take control over the "Overlad", the son of the Overlord of the first game, embark on a quest throughout the countryside, looting, pillaging and being evil. The trailer is an interesting insight to the dark and twisted minds working at Triumph Studios and looks to be a must-buy for those that enjoyed the first title in the series.

Like the first game, Overlord II will have its plot penned by award-winning Rhianna Pratchett, who was also responsible for story-work on Mirror's Edge and Heavenly Sword. Overlord II is the "headline" product in a new range of games set in Triumph's twisted and uncanny Overlord universe, and will be accompanied with Overlord: Dark Legend for the Nintendo Wii, and Overlord: Minions for the Nintendo DS.

Overlord II will be available on the PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. It is expected to be released in June this year.
