Splash Damage pick-up Killzone 2 lead level designer

A Killzone 2 level.
When Splash Damage (the guys behind Enemy Territory) aren't attempting to take over the world or save the Tapir, they're busy making games. As a part of the game-making process, they need employees.

Following plans for expansion that were announced last year - the company has added Neil Alphonso, (who worked as lead level designer for Killzone 2) to their team of highly trained Tapirs. The company will use Alphonso's talents on an as-yet unannounced game that is a partnership between Bethesda and Splash Damage.

Splash Damage has increased its total number of employees dramatically over the past year, with the studio having picked up people who worked on titles such as Mass Effect, World in Conflict, and with Alphonso's appoitment, Killzone 2 and Duke Nukem Forever.

Yes, you read that correctly - before his time on Killzone 2, Alphonso worked at the mythical fantasy-land that is 3D Realms, where he worked as (unsurprisingly) Level Designer. While Alphonso stated nothing regarding his time at 3D Realms - he is happy to be at Splash Damage, stating the following regarding his new position:
The Splash Damage guys know how to build great multiplayer experiences that are a cut above most of what is available today. Their refined approach is even more appealing to me as a Lead Level Designer, and provides an excellent base for me to push on into the frontiers of gaming.
Meanwhile, Paul Wedgewood, owner of Splash Damage is keen to work with Alphonso in the future, citing some of his earlier projects:
I love Neil's considerable focus on advancing our players' experience, born-out by his refined design talent and stunning accumulation of knowledge while working on games such as Killzone 2 and Splinter Cell. He's the perfect man to lead our team of really skilled Level Designers. I can't wait for our fans to see what he and his team are working on.
At present, absolutely nothing conclusive is known about the secret happenings at Splash Damage other than the fact that the studio is currently working on a multi-platform title in partnership with Bethesda.
