Midnight Club: LA - A video tour of South Central

Not content to sit back on their video-releasin' laurels, Rockstar Games have just announced a shiny new trailer for Midnight Club: Los Angeles, highlighting the impending new downloadable release of the South Central Upgrade. Scheduled to arrive on March 12th for both the Xbox 360 and PS3, there's no pesky exclusivity here to upset the console fanboys.
The South Central Upgrade promises to expand the world of Midnight Club: Los Angeles by one third, adding four new neighbourhoods to create the iconic South Central district - and you can take a cruise through some of them right here, with the release of the South Central Trailer.

Now, if you recall, the South Central Upgrade is comprised of two parts - the South Central Premium Upgrade is the paid-for bit, adding nine new vehicles, 12 new battle maps, 10 new delivery missions, 26 new races, more than 100 (!) new red-light races, plus new parts, vinyl packs, music and more - all for a measly US$9.99 / 800 MS Points.
Meanwhile, if you're not in the mood to shell out any actual cash for your expansion, there is also the free South Central Map Expansion, which ensures that every racer with either console version of the game can play against people who've shelled out for the Premium Upgrade. Basically, it's all the maps, but none of the other extra stuff.

For more details on what's in the upcoming DLC, we recently took a look for you.
If you've read our review, played the game, thought about entering the World Championships, and watched all the videos, it's not long now to wait. Mark down March 12th in your calendar, and get set to check out South Central!
