World in Conflict: Soviet Assault goes aerial
Ubisoft and Massive Entertainment have released a new trailer for World in Conflict: Soviet Assault. Entitled "Aerial Assault" - the new trailer appears to be a mix of pre-rendered and real-time game footage that shows off some of the action that will be featured in the campaign.

With brooding Russian narration, a ridiculous amount of fire power, and a fuel-air bomb finale, the trailer appears to depict the same events from three perspectives - the Soviets, The Americans, and that of some civilians.

World in Conflict: Soviet Assault is currently scheduled for a release in March this year, and will be available exclusively on the PC. Soviet Assault will be available at retailers in a bundle with the original game for AU$49.95, while those who already own World in Conflict will be able to to purchase the new single-player content digitally.

For those that would rather not outlay any cash on the expansion, when Soviet Assault launches, Massive Entertainment intend to release a patch that will allow all gamers to play the new maps online, which will also include a number of bug fixes and engine enhancements.
