Ubisoft Entertainment have announced that they intend to support the Mac as a gaming platform in the future, with the company to utilise the services of TransGaming Inc to move two AAA titles to the platform. In March this year, Mac gamers will be able to acquaint themselves with Prince of Persia and Shaun White Snowboarding - both which will be optimised to run natively under OSX.
The games will be available through both digital download and retail outlets, with CSI: Crime Scene Investigation: Hard Evidence, Rayman Raving Rabbids and Petz Sports to be available on the Mac in March.

Andy Swanson, Senior Director of Strategic Sales and Partnerships at Ubisoft had the following to say regarding the announcement:
While it may be a stretch to see most developers do "proper" simultaneous releases (with a Mac and Windows binary on the same disc) - not every developer and publisher has the vision of Blizzard.

The Mac community has responded very positively to our previous game offerings and we’re excited to provide Mac users with a new selection of games through our relationship with TransGaming.Meanwhile, Vikas Gupta, CEO and President of TransGaming added:
Ubisoft has an exceptional portfolio of titles that spans an assortment of genres. The availability of their titles on the Mac is a great catalyst for Mac gaming. While the Mac isn't yet widely accepted as a gaming platform (due to a lack of games on the platform), with more publishers and developers beginning to see its potential strength in the market, we can only hope to see more new such as this.
