New Wallace & Gromit to grace Xbox LIVE

![]() Whatever it is, it's Wallace's fault. |
Telltale, which seems to have risen from the disgruntled ashes of LucasArts, showed their strength working with other people's creations in Strong Bad's Cool Game (which also appeared as WiiWare), and that bodes well for Wallace & Gromit, as does their experience both with adventure games and episodic titles.
With full consciousness of the awkwardness often suffered by point-and-click titles when ported to console, Wallace & Gromit has been blessed with a control scheme designed specifically for control pads. If this manages to make the game fluidly playable rather than another reason to wish for a mouse on your console, I personally will be extremely surprised, but very happily so.
It'll be interesting to see how far this new relationship with Xbox LIVE goes, and if we'll see Telltale's back-catalog of games appearing on the Marketplace soon (yes please). Given the company's touted commitment to digital distribution it's hard to see what might be disinclining them from doing so and thereby making even more money from the console-only market, or from expanding on to the Playstation Network, too.
