Lord of the Rings Online: Mines of Moria video extravaganza
It’s a Lord of the Rings post which means I get to talk about Hobbits. Hobbits are so swell. They aren’t filthy but mostly they are dandy and dapper creatures, some are gregarious and others not so. One common element shared by all Hobbits is their love for scrumptious pastries and hearty spirits. And a little special pipe tobacco shared with friends late into the night, which is also a favorite pastime amongst many The Lord of the Rings Online players. No, I do not play as a Hobbit and I am not a Hobbit lover - are you kidding? I play Dwarf! I eat you Hobbits for breakfast.

Maybe Turbine should be punished for releasing Mines of Moria so close to Wrath of the Lich King. It is a bit reckless to release a first expansion alongside the behemoth's expansion that is crushing every other MMOG out there. If you haven’t played LotRO, or if you have in the past and since abandoned it, maybe the following videos showcasing the mystical linguists, citizen soldiers, an epic raid, and a dev diary with Jeffrey Steefel will entice a return there and back again.

Jeffrey Steefel, Executive Producer on the title discusses the new legendary items system and how it is utilized in Mines of Moria, the first expansion to Lord of the Rings Online.
