Now Playing (06/01/09) - Looking into '09

Last week we checked out some of the best trailers from 2008 but it seems the developers need just a little bit more time to get some new stuff out. So this week we will be looking at some of the best clips for games coming out this year! These videos were made to hype you up and it might have been just a little while since you have seen them. Check them out to understand why 2009 is going to be an excellent year of gaming.
Starting off this week is a high flying fighter. Then we are going back to the origin of a project, as well as hitting the streets for a fight. There is something evil around there and it might just be because of the hammer of war. But luckily we have a commando to swing into action to save us.

While I still have no idea what the X stands for (I'm backing with eXtreme) this trailer looked awesome and still does. All the fighter pilot fans grabbed their dog tags and proceeded to get back into the skies with a new dog fight. When it comes out, I'll be hearing the Top Gun anthem playing all day. |

When this came out it freaked and pleased many. While it has had a few ups and downs last year, we know it is coming and we are getting ready! Alma is coming back and get ready for her to bring some FEAR! |

I couldn't even begin to tell you how much I have played this game, the arcade probably holds my house deposit by now. This is my number one game for 2009 and this trailer is one of the main reasons why. You don't even need to watch it, listen, the music, fighting.. everything about it screams Street Fighter and makes me want it more. |

Not without a bit of controversy to the RE5 trailers, this trailer hit back and had fans wanting more. It looked like a movie trailer and keep enough mystery to force you to buy it to find out. Who is that birdman guy? What was in that truck? How awesome is that guy with the axe (Astaroth maybe?). After playing the last one so much, I can't wait for this. |

This trailer made just about every Dawn of War or Warhammer fan go crazy! The trailer before this one teased at the addition of Tyranids. I have watched this trailer many times, it is a perfect example of how to do something right! It looks and feels brilliant, add this to my list of must-haves. |

This trailer is one I will not forget anytime soon. Just from the start I thought cool, they have made a new Bionic Commando platformer... and BAM he jumps at you and swings into the foreground. Amazing. I was stunned, after rewatching it just now I still am! Check it out! |
