It is the end of the year and what better way to celebrate than to have a look back on some of the best trailers we have seen this year? There have been so many good ones! New game announcements, comedy trailers and even movie-like clips. I've sifted through the weeks and weeks of previous installments of Now Playing, peeked in boxes and snooped around in our huge File Library to find the highlights.

What made it into some of the best trailers for this year? Well this week you are just going to have to come in and have a look. If you are in the market for something new, End Credits will still have a dosage of all the latest trailers. So jump in and enjoy a few of the best game trailers of 2008.

Team Fortress 2 When this trailer came out who would have guessed it would have been our first look at a little addon and another one of our favourite videos. But meeting the Scout was great, hilarious just like the rest of them.

	Saints Row 2 Life lessons with Uncle Gary. These were all so great, but this was the first one I saw and it made me realise what a hilarious and crazy person Gary Busey is.

Battlefield: Bad Company The stories behind the team in bad company were just brilliant. Each one was unique and had something to offer, I really wish they would make more.

	Diablo 3 The fans have been waiting and this trailer showed them everything they could have wanted and more. While some argued it didn't have the classic 'dark' look about it, no one could argue that this isn't what we have been waiting for.

Mirror's Edge I can't even begin to tell you the amount of times I have watched this trailer. After getting my first view of this game, it was the only thing I was playing most days. The idea, the music, the stunning visuals. I even went and downloaded a HD quality version to watch on my big TV in the living room. Simply one of the best trailers of the year and my personal favourite.

	LittleBigPlanet The documentary-style trailers were done so well. A funny, entertaining and interesting look into the world of LittleBigPlanet and the life of a Sackboy. If you haven't watched these, they are a must!

It has been an entertaining year for games and the trailers have been some of the best I have ever seen. I think another group of trailers that deserve a last minute special mention is those crazy rabbids, any one of their trailers will bring a smile to your face. But the ones listed here aren't all the best ones, it took a long time to sit and sort through and find some of the top few.
