Bow down before your makers BioWare, LucasArts and of course Games on Net. We have your first behind-the-scenes look at Star Wars: The Old Republic! The video, a documentary and a first in a series clocks in at five minutes and inside there are new screen-shots, commentary from the masterminds about the vision for the game, and of course there’s some action-packed choreographed footage thrown into the mix!

The pleasant surprise is that the overall graphical style looks amazing. It’s hard to grasp the intricate details but for a first glance it is looking awesome. The graphical style is a concern for many as the standalone screenshots look a bit mediocre but maybe your opinion will change after you see real-time footage. What steals the whole video is the combat footage. If they can actually pull it off - hot damn! I dare say this could be the best BioWare game if the evil Electronic Arts and Suits don't mess it up.

I’ll try not to buy into the hype and I suggest you do the same but it’s difficult not to be pleased with this way-on early look. Okay, I'm lying - I cried inside. We’re talking alpha folks here. There are still many graphical effects that are yet to be implemented until development is further along. It's only going to get better.
