Back in October, we brought you the news that High Voltage Software were working on a shooter aimed towards a the mature end of the Nintendo Wii audience. Entitled The Conduit, the game is set to offer a dark narrative surrounding a "vicious alien invasion".
The player takes on the role of one Mr. Ford, who is employed by an organisation known as "The Trust". Today, Sega have released two new trailers from the game, which show off some of the action that Wii owners can expect once the title launches next year.

As we've detailed previously, The Conduit will allow gamers to completely customise their controls with the ability to modify aiming sensitivity, dead zone and a number of other control aspects. In addition, the promise of a compelling plot surrounding an alien invasion by a race known as "The Drudge" is promised.
While it may be too early to draw comparisons, this looks as though it could be the Wii's version of Gears of War or Killzone. It does seem to have the same core elements - a war against an alien race, and a bunch of gun play.
The Conduit should be available in the Australian Spring of 2009. It will also offer full support for multi-player.
