Prince of Persia gets a visit from Assassin's Creed
When Prince of Persia arrives on consoles in December of this year, he's bringing a friend with him - none other than Altair from Assassin's Creed! Now, I'd heard rumours about this over the weekend, but Ubisoft have just confirmed it, and explained how it all works.

Simply link your Ubisoft.com account to either your Xbox LIVE or PlayStation Network account, and you'll be given access to a special Altair skin. With that installed, you can check out all the sights and adventures of ancient Persia, while decked out in the red and white of Altair's ancient order.

Quite a dashing outfit you have there, Prince!

Ben Mattes, producer for Ubisoft’s Prince of Persia video game explains:
“Prince of Persia is an incredible experience. We’re thrilled to give our loyal fans another way to journey through it. This exclusive reward is a ‘thank you’ to our fans, who can easily unlock it when they link their Ubisoft.com accounts to their Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3 gamer identities.”
If you don't yet have an Ubisoft.com, it's easy enough to set up - head over to princeofpersia.com and create your account. That way, when you begin your Prince of Persia adventure, you'll have Altair along for the ride.

Prince of Persia is currently on track for a release on December 4th, for Xbox 360 and PS3 - and there's a PC version as well, but at this stage it looks like they miss out on this exclusive new skin. Sorry!

(...okay, so it's not really Altair, it's the Prince in a different costume, but still. It's pretty cool, right?)
+ 3 Digg it!
