It's time to break out the cake and candles - Half-Life turns 10 today!
If you haven't yet played this one, you're missing out. When Valve launched their first title back in 1998, Half-Life was showered with awards (labelled "Game of the Year" by more than 50 outlets) and praised with stellar reviews (Metacritic of 96%). Since then, it's created a franchise that has sold more than 20 million units - and you can have it all for just 98¢ (US), if you get in before 9:30am Saturday morning (Adelaide time).
...so - what are you waiting for? 98¢ for Half-Life! That deal won't last!
Alternatively, the game's also bundled into some pretty impressive game packs over at the Steam store - so if you're up for spending a bit more, you'll be richly rewarded with gaming goodness.

You are Gordon Freeman, a young research associate in the Anomalous Materials Laboratory.
