Earlier today an update for the Left 4 Dead demo was released, ahead of the release of the full game, which is available for play on Steam as of now. We've also got a number of servers up for the game, ready for you to fight for your lives as the survivors, or hunt down those pesky humans for the horde.

Left 4 Dead is amongst one of the many recent high-profile releases that have all been squashed into November, and is arguably one of the most highly anticipated PC games of recent time. The game is available on steam for US$49.99 for those who've not pre-ordered. Those who have will be able to now play the game.

If you've not yet made a decision as to whether the title is worth your money - it is a little late, with the demo no longer active. Whilst Valve have a tendency to host numerous free-weekends for their products, it doesn't look as though Left 4 Dead will be having on just yet.

For those who await the retail release of Left 4 Dead, there is still a it of a wait, with the game available from local retailers on the 20th of November, this Thursday. In the odd case that you'd prefer this one on the Xbox 360, it will be available on the console this Thursday.
