Capcom have just released a PC demo for MotoGP 08, the latest iteration of the series. Developed by Milestone Software, the latest in the series sees franchise change publishers from THQ to Capcom. The demo is lightweight, and a welcome change from the multi-gigabyte demos we've become accustomed to recently.

For around 543MB, (unmetered data for Internode customers), you'll gain access to the Mugello circuit, and will be able to race around the track as either Dani Pedrosa or Nicky Hayden. You'll also be able to choose one of the three racing modes present in the game which range from arcade to simulation, along with an intermediate mode. Finally, gamers are also able to select a level of AI racing opposition in order to find the right level of challenge.

The demo will be made available on the PlayStation Network and the Xbox LIVE Marketplace in the very near future, and will feature the same content as the PC demo. The full version of MotoGP 08 contains a complete reproduction of the MotoGP Motorcycle racing series, and includes 125cc, 250cc and the MotoGP class, along with the all the tracks, riders and official teams.
