Get yer running shoes on folks, we've just received word that DICE have put the finishing touches on their upcoming parkour action title, Mirror's Edge, confirming that the game has gone gold for both Xbox 360 and PS3 (the PC version is expected to arrive in the Australian summer). To celebrate, we've got a brand new video for you, to whet your appetite!

This is, by the way, perhaps your last chance to put down a pre-order before the game launches next week, confirming your interest and unlocking the game's free Time Trial mode, exclusively for pre-ordering customers. There's also a comic-book tie-in doing the rounds, as well as a prelaunch demo on both platforms, if you want to try before you buy.

Word on the street is that Mirror's Edge may well be the first in a trilogy, which means we might be seeing a lot more of Faith, the black-market runner, whose job is to courier goods in a futuristic, fascist society. In this instalment, Faith's sister has been framed - accused of assassinating a politician - and it's down to Faith to clear her name.
