Set in Washington D.C. The Conduit will recount a dark narrative following a "vicious alien invasion". An organisation going by the name of The Trust, sends in a Secret Service Agent (Mr. Ford) who is tasked with fighting an alien insect-like race known as the "The Drudge". Mr. Ford, armed with an "array of futuristic weaponry and an intelligence gathering device" known as the "All Seeing Eye", players will experience conspiracy, shady government dealings and terrifying aliens.
The Conduit will feature a "detailed" control customisation feature, allowing Wii owners to configure their the look sensitivity, turning speed, the dead zone and "more" (y'know features that PC owners have always had). The plot of The Conduit will feature twists and turns, along with counter-conspiracy theories suggesting that perhaps the government was behind the invasion in the first place.
Garry Knight, European marketing Director at Sega had the following to say regarding the title:
Bringing The Conduit into our library is yet another show of SEGA’s belief that the Wii is more than a casual games console. As one of the most anticipated Wii games for next year, The Conduit will be the new benchmark for first person shooters.

Meanwhile, CEO and Founder of High Voltage Software, Kerry Ganofsky is excited about Sega publishing the title:
High Voltage Software's partnership with SEGA to publish The Conduit represents an important milestone for this studio. SEGA shares our vision for the title and its tremendous potential, which is why we chose them from a long list of potential partners. With their support, we are confident that The Conduit will deliver the definitive shooter experience that Wii fans have been waiting for since the system's launch. The Conduit will be powered by High Voltage Software's in-house engine, called Quantum 3. It has built in support for multiplayer, and sports a level of "graphical fidelity never seen before on the Wii". The title will also support the Wii Speak peripheral, allowing players to chat with one another while they destroy aliens in co-op themed gameplay.
The game will launch at some point in the "Autumn of the 2009" (so, Spring in Australia?), and will be available exclusively on the Nintendo Wii.
