BioShock 2: Sea of Dreams - teaser trailer emerges from the depths

Back in the sweltering heat of March, we reported that BioShock would be seeing a sequel. Today, we've managed to get our hands onto a teaser trailer for the next instalment in the series, which is featured at the end of the PS3 version of BioShock.
Entitled BioShock 2, with the subtitle "Sea of Dreams", the next instalment is speculated to be a prequel to the original title. The new teaser trailer features what appears to be a little sister mournfully looking out to sea. It doesn't give away too much, but will certainly spark of a wave of further speculation.

While no solid release date is yet announced for the title, it would appear that we can expect it at some point in 2009. At this stage, it looks as though the game will make an appearance on the PC, PS3, and the Xbox 360. Whether these release dates will be staggered is not yet known. We'll keep you informed as we learn more.
