Wii Music - a cacophony of new screenshots
Nintendo have released an absolutely huge number of new screenshots for their upcoming entry into "mash buttons and make music genre", Wii Music. Allowing gamers to perform classics from the likes of Tchaikovsky, Strauss and Beethoven, licensed tracks by (now ancient) pop-icons John Lennon, Kylie Minogue, The Police and Wham, along with tunes from popular Nintendo games.

The new screenshots show off some of the environments you'll be able to jam in, along with a variety of interface screenshots. The "absolutely huge number" I alluded to before weighs in at one hundred and sixty six, which is quite possibly the largest number of "new" screenshots I've seen released in one big batch.

(The remainder of the shiny new screenshots can be found on the mirror)

Wii Music was recently launched in the US, where it appears to have been met with a mixed reception. We'll have to wait a little bit longer in order to see if Nintendo's entry into the music genre is successful or not, with a PAL release of the title expected to occur on the 14th of November.
