Last week the Brisbane Games On Net community organised a meet up for anyone in Brisbane who wanted to come along for a night of chatter, food, drinks and of course some hilarity.

We started off at Gilhooleys in the City and after some of us were late (completely not my fault) we had a nice meal with some good company and an interesting view of the... er... cricket... for half the table.



After chatting a little more we decided to head up to Fat Louies pool hall for a few hours of doubles 8 Ball. While those of us who had remembered to bring out ID cards were allowed in to play, one almost missed out. However through the kindness of bouncers his babyface looked old enough and was let in, only to find his ID in his wallet the next day anyway (hahaha).

After many games of pool we came to the conclusion that Emp is the better pool player of us all, undefeated and even had to drag Chucky and his horrible shots along with him to victory. At this stage it was getting late in the night and the older admins left us noobmins and forum goers to escape into the wild that was the city. We checked out a pub or two before going where gamers go best, to the arcade!



However a Brisbane meet up isn't complete without a few traditions to take care of. So once again we rocked the Teddy Bear Shop and messaged a certain admin (lol Max|). I have already started pondering ideas for the next one (most probably early to mid December), so if you are free do come along as they are a great time out and a good way to meet the community. If you live outside of Brisbane, feel free to travel in and join us (the more the merrier) or why not try organising your own.


It was an awesome night all round and once again a huge thanks goes out to Spokkeh, Krushr`, Viperlord, Emp, Chucky, Keating, Clousseau, CrazyMonkey, Krankite and MrEggs for attending!
